KoaLearn Terms of Use
1. Provider
KoaLearn is published by Fabian Graziano Marco Dattis under the name FumFum, established in Italy. For information and support, email fumfumdev@gmail.com.
2. Service and beta status
KoaLearn offers a study path with theory, exercises, checks, practice, progress, and social features. It is a beta under development: content and features may change, be interrupted, or be unavailable. Available courses and languages are those shown in the app. Courses marked as future offerings are not part of the currently available service.
3. Account and acceptable use
An account is needed to save progress. Keep your credentials private and do not compromise the service, other users, or groups. Choose lawful, respectful nicknames and group names; do not post other people’s personal data in visible fields. Group creators may revoke invitations. Report suspected misuse to fumfumdev@gmail.com.
4. Learning and assessment
KoaLearn is a practice tool. It does not guarantee grades, exam success, academic recognition, or complete coverage of your teacher’s syllabus. Check your course requirements and sources. Free-form solutions require comparison with a reference solution and self-assessment; the app does not automatically grade a mathematical proof. Content may contain errors, which you can report to the contact above.
5. Lives, XP, streaks, and rankings
Lives, XP, unlocks, and streaks are in-app indicators with no monetary value. The backend determines progress and rewards under the product rules. Leaderboards show nickname and XP, not email. Misuse or repeated requests do not entitle a user to duplicate rewards.
6. Demo features, ads, and Pro
On Android, video ads are provided by Google AdMob. Development uses test ads without advertising revenue. A reward requires completion reported by the provider; cancelled or unavailable ads do not grant rewards. The beta service must be enabled on the server. Pro demo involves no charge. The displayed Pro price is a product concept, not an active purchase offer.
7. Content and notes
KoaLearn text, interface, and images remain with their respective owners. You may use them for personal study, but not systematically redistribute the app or its content. Your notes remain yours. The current notebook stores data on the device; you are responsible for any copies you want to keep before removing the app or its data.
8. Availability, changes, and closure
We aim to keep the service working, but a beta may have maintenance, errors, or outages. We may change features and suspend use that harms the service or others, subject to applicable law. You may stop using KoaLearn at any time. To request account closure and deletion of associated data, email fumfumdev@gmail.com.
9. Privacy and mandatory rights
The in-app privacy notice explains what data we process and how to exercise your rights. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights or exclude liability where the law prohibits it. Applicable mandatory protections govern disputes, including those of a consumer’s country of residence when required.
10. Updates
We may update these terms as the product or law changes. We will make the new version available in the app and give appropriate notice before material changes take effect.
